How Discovering the Secrets Behind Your Business is the Key to True Success
Success… how many business owners and entrepreneurs are eluded by it? Many of us wake up and look in the mirror say to yourself: “I’m better than this!”
Success, it comes for a short time and then it’s gone. It may come back but then it’s gone again, and the pattern repeats.
Have you experienced the roller coaster pattern?
The slow climb up and the fast, steep and frightening ride back down, then there are twists turns and more violent up and downs.
The ups and downs of life and business can take its toll.
It’s frustrating, grueling, and painful.
I know this so well because I’ve lived it for over a decade.
I’ve made money, lost money, made some money… and repeat.
There is a secret to success and today I’m going to share how the problems you are passionate about solving is the key, if you can discover what those things are.
Your Personal Experiences are the Key to Unlocking the Door of Success
Unveil the Web (UTW) is not just about finding clarity and delivering your message to increase sales.
It’s about discovering the “why” of your own experience.
If you’re like I used to be, you may not be 100% comfortable with the idea of success.
I shared recently in the video below that my own experiences as a kid deeply affected the way I used to see my business.
Rejection is a powerful thing!
The worst part is the most powerful, negative experiences can dominate all areas of your life and you may not even be aware of it.
I get it because I’ve been there.
Not to sound precocious, I know I’m intelligent and experienced. I’ve made it in business for 12 years and had a lot of success.
But I could have had so much more!
I told myself for years in the back of my mind that I couldn’t achieve all the success I wanted.
What a lie!
The rejections of the past sat in the back of mind and unconsciously festered.
The things I told myself kept me from pursuing some incredible opportunities that would have changed my life forever.
I made the wrong decisions out of fear and those decisions have finally become learning experiences now that I’m aware of them. (See, there is a positive!)
Can You Identify? Are You Gifted, Intelligent and Capable But Not Where You Want to Be?
Is that you?
Are you incredibly gifted, intelligent and capable?
Do you ever look in the mirror and say to yourself:
“Why am I struggling so much? I’m better than this?”
Of course you are!
But over time you’ve learned to believe the story that you are not, even though the facts say different.
If you’ve been in business for more than a year, congratulations!
You’ve done what very, very few people will ever do.
You are among the 1% who went beyond having a dream to figuring out how to fulfill it!
Yet, something seems off and the results are just not there the way you hoped they would be.
Clarity is the Key to Success
I share from a business perspective all of the time how clarity is the key to success in business. But clarity is so much more than that.
To gain clarity to build a message or brand, I always lead with this question:
What are the problems you are passionate about solving?
This is the hardest question I will ever ask anyone.
Until recently, I kept this question superficial for my clients. We identified the problems they wanted to solve but didn’t go much beyond that.
That was my own issue showing back up again.
Now, I challenge my clients to dig into their lives and discover the hidden or forgotten things that inform them of who they are and why they are the way they are.
It’s inside of stories we tell ourselves and the reality of the past that we are confronted with the true passions and problems we want to solve in the world.
It’s through that discovery and learning experience that we find our true purpose and meaning and then satisfaction and fulfillment.
If you want to be in the 1% for a long time and achieve real success, you have to discover the stories you are telling yourself that are keeping you from it that only compound your fear and anxiety.
You can choose to be free of the stories in your head.
You can change the stories from the lie to the truth and affirm your value and worth.
You can unveil the truths of your own life.
You can have the success you dream of.
What are the Secrets Behind Your Business?
You are your business and your business is you!
There is no escaping it. Your business will only go as far as you can mentally and emotionally take it.

You have to gain the clarity of your life, emotions and future in order for you to achieve success.
Okay, is that completely true for you to achieve success?
I know some are thinking of highly successful people who don’t care one bit or are not satisfied or fulfilled in any way.
No, of course it’s not.
We’ve all met highly successful people who were miserable, lived with something to prove (in a negative sense) and made everyone around them feel useless.
They were missing joy, satisfaction and fulfillment in their lives and businesses.
All there was for them was the fleeting perception of a vain success and money.
If you’re reading this article, I don’t think that’s what you want?
For that person, there is something deeply painful driving him or her.
It could be the disappointment of a loved one over the choices they made.
Maybe it was the rejection of a parent and never being able to live up their expectations.
Perhaps it was a painful experience that led to feeling unworthy or unwanted.
Regardless, the business gives this person an identity but it can’t take away the real issue(s).
I’m not even sure to be honest if I would call this success?
It’s just the illusion of success based on material things.
Satisfaction and Fulfillment Comes Through Your Passion and Personal Mission
When you discover the problems you’re passionate about solving, something magical happens!
Suddenly the motive changes for the business as the business owner or entrepreneur begins to realize that the business is just a tool.
The business merely exists so that you can live with a purpose and have satisfaction and fulfillment.
You could literally build any kind of business because the focus isn’t the business, it’s the problems you’re passionate about solving.
Many of us don’t realize that our deep driven passions are driven by our own experiences, and our experiences and how we feel about them are at the very heart of our business.
I said it once, I’m going to say it again:
You are your business and your business is you!

I’ve seen it time and time again. I’ve experienced it myself.
When you connect with your experiences that bring strong emotions and begin to understand what drives you, it changes everything!
It brings meaning, purpose, satisfaction and fulfillment as you begin to see your business as a means, not an end.
Over the years I’ve come across some people who are clearly in tune with the problems they are passionate about solving.
