Today I’m going to take a big risk and share with you how the presentation of your message ought to always be refined and refocused if you want more prospects and customers. It’s a risk because I’m going to be vulnerable and talk about myself today and my issue that must be resolved.
When I first started Unveil my message was crystal clear to me. I had done the exact same homework that I ask my clients to do and guess what; the results to date have been phenomenal!!!!
While my message was clear, the presentation of my message outside of my blog and videos has not always been so clear.
Some of you may be saying; “Really? You don’t think you’ve been clear with your presentation?”
That’s what I’m saying. The truth is we never arrive, we are always growing and learning and as a result adapting and changing.
It’s amazing how easy it is for me to earn prospects and sales when I talk with people or when they read my blog.
But, if they don’t do those two things I can virtually guarantee you that they bounce right off of my site and don’t do a thing.
In short, the presentation of my message outside of my blog could be better; it must be better.
It’s a problem I have known for a while needs to be addressed and as it has been said; there is no time like the present.
This is a process that is always evolving as I learn from my readers through comments and questions; from my prospects on calls with them and through my clients as I work with them.
Here is a truth I know; as good as the presentation of my message is today it can be better!
For regular readers of my blog and for my clients; you know I love the formula I learned in Tony Jeary’s book “Strategic Acceleration”;
CLARITY + FOCUS = EXECUTION
I tell my clients both in the beginning and at the end of our work together that over time the clarity they gain through the process I take them through will aid in helping them focus more clearly on the presentation of that message; and as time goes we all ought to get better at it.
It’s just as true for me as it is for them.
So today, I’m introducing some “focus” that needs some improvement and direction.

With that said, I get a lot of questions from my readers and clients about how do I make money outside of consulting and coaching.
My new focus will make it easier to communicate how and where I help them above or beyond just consulting or coaching.
Don’t get me wrong, I love what I do but I also know there is a market full of opportunities to help even more people via various means. This is giving me the clarity that I need to scale my fast growing business.
I have given this a lot of thought over the last few months and I now have answers.
Some people learn best through academic settings and if you love a classroom type environment then Unveil University will be a great learning place for you.
This “live” online, classroom setting will afford business owners, entrepreneurs and marketers an opportunity to learn more about messaging and strategies through a strong curriculum, weekly homework and live interactive engagement.
At the beginning of each semester there will be a syllabus and a list of expectations. Including in the program will be a group project where students will help one another learn and improve their messaging.
The program will be demanding but if seen through will have major benefits for each student both personally and for the business.
The final grade will be determined by each student on how well they take what they learn, apply it and use it to grow and benefit their business.
While I give a ton of great information for free in my blog, webinars and videos I also know that there is a place to utilize pre-recorded, high quality training’s that people can access and use to help their marketing efforts.
Each training will be priced reasonably in order to help as many businesses as possible achieve their clarity, focus and execution efforts.
Yes, I will be starting a new eBook soon thanks to the success of “The Shift – The Fast Paced Transition from Mass Marketing to Context Marketing.”
I have been asked if my books will be available in print; I’m working on that but it remains to be seen at this moment.
Now that you see this and the simplicity of the presentation of my business model and how I will use it to scale my business I hope it will inspire you to think “simple” when it comes to the presentation of your message.
It really doesn’t matter what business you are in; it matters what business you are “really” in from the customers point of view; meaning how well are they identifying with you and how easy is it for them to have a reason to buy from you?
People understand simple and they buy simple.
The more complex you make the presentation of your message the least likely it will be that people buy from you.
It’s amazing isn’t it how complex we can make simple things?
I shudder to think of how many people felt overwhelmed by my content on the “Begin Here” and Service pages and didn’t buy because it felt complex to them even though it made great sense to me.
While the message was right, the delivery may not have been.
So, it’s time to demonstrate my clarity through focus!
I have simplified the “Begin Here” (which will include the image above) and made it much more clearer and in alignment with my consistent message. The service page has disappeared and all of mys ervices /and products now appear at the bottom of the “Begin Here” page.
If someone chooses not to buy from me it won’t be because they were overwhelmed or didn’t understand how to buy me. It will be for a reason that is out of my control.
To those who have shared with me, I have heard your message loud and clear and I’m excited to get this done for both me and for you!
Perhaps your presentation is a mess and people are not buying from you because you don’t have a real message that is inspiring, relevant, compelling or interesting.
