What Is MentorBox?

MentorBox is a membership program starting at $7 a month. It’s run by Alex Mehr and Tai Lopez – two world class entrepreneurs who have built multi-million dollar brands. In MentorBox, they’ll teach you the skills you need to replicate their business success.

Inside the program you will get summarized books, courses, and training on how to run a business.

MentorBox is founded with the idea that if you want to be an entrepreneur, you need to constantly level up your game and become a better, stronger leader. But does it work?

Our MentorBox Review will go inside the program and help you determine if it’s the right program for you.

What To Expect Inside MentorBox

As an entrepreneur, I strongly believe in upgrading skills.

That’s what drew me to MentorBox – they exist to help newer entrepreneurs establish the skills needed to run a successful business.

But is the program worth it?

If you’re like me, you want to know exactly what you’ll get out of MentorBox when you signup … so here’s a brief summary.

You’ll get dedicated courses on marketing, sales, business development, entrepreneurship, and how to live a life as an executive.

Personally, I find the most value in their “Entrepreneur Academy” program.

It’s designed to take first time entrepreneurs from beginner to expert CEO in as little time as possible. You’ll learn how to manage teams, build a personal brand, run marketing campaigns, manage sales processes, and build financial systems to help you grow and scale.

According to the Small Business Administration, the majority of business don’t survive after five years.

Why? Because most businesses aren’t run by entrepreneurs who know how to run a business … they’re run by “technicians” who know how to do a job.

In his book “The E-Myth Revisited”, Michael Gerber tells us there are three types of people in the world.

#1 – Technicians. These are people who are GREAT at running their job and working within systems and processes.

#2 – Managers. They run the systems and processes and maximize for efficiency.

#3 – Entrepreneurs. The role of the entrepreneur is to set the vision for the company and provide a roadmap and direction. This includes leading teams, identifying opportunities, and developing the business strategy. The role of MentorBox and Entrepreneur Academy is to turn technicians into entrepreneurs.

What Are Lessons Like Inside MentorBox?

Inside MentorBox

Inside MentorBox you’ll get video lessons that range on average 5-20 minutes long. Some are closer to 30.

Most of the lessons start off simple.

They explore a high level topic.

Later on the lessons do deeper into each topic.

Look at the concept of being a CEO, for example.

Alex starts off explaining that being a great CEO means identifying great opportunities then finding the fastest way to success with them.

In later lessons he expands upon this, covering topics like the 80 / 20 rule (80% of your results come from 20% of your efforts), building teams, and learning how to identify which opportunities you’re most likely to succeed in.

MentorBox Teaches The Way People Learn

In this MentorBox review, we’ve covered what MentorBox teaches.

But to me, as an entrepreneur myself, the most important factor is this: MentorBox teaches the way people learn.

What do I mean by that?

People learn emotionally before they learn logically.

It’s almost like a sales process.

There are three parts of the brain.

#1 – The “reptilian brain” – responsible for desire and instinct.

#2 – The “limbic brain” responsible for emotion.

#3 – The “Neo-cortex” which is responsible for logic.

Like selling, when people learn emotionally before they learn logically.

MentorBox teaches their audience the relevance of the topic and helps them understand how that topic will change their life and business.

Then it gives them a step-by-step framework on how that will happen.

And once the steps are provided, individual lessons go deep into implementing these steps.

As a course creator and marketer, I know it’s critical is to deliver information in a way that gets users involved on all three levels … MentorBox excels at that.

This, to me, makes them one of the best places for newer entrepreneurs or business owners to come and develop their skills.

Who Should Signup For MentorBox?

If you’re newer to entrepreneurship and need to build skills to run successful businesses, MentorBox is the right platform for you.

However, if you have experience building and scaling businesses – you’re not going to find much value in their offer.

The Entrepreneur Academy might be helpful, and you’ll certainly pickup useful nuggets along the way … but the program as a whole will feel basic and won’t be the best use of your time or money.

If you’re interested in marketing, sales, entrepreneurship, and business development and need to build these skills, MentorBox is for you!
